LOREN SOMERVILLE
Loren Somerville is a UK based artist situated in Cheshire. Loren’s rural upbringing resulted in her choice of Agricultural and Equine animals being the predominant subject for her artwork. Loren’s new series of work features her unique bright palette and painting style, embodying all of her rural influences to date.
Loren studied Fine Art at Chester University; where she gained a First Class BA Honours Degree prior to completing her teacher training in 2013 at Manchester Metropolitan University. She spent two happy years teaching before returning to the art world at age 26 working for an art publisher and in June of 2016 she took on on a family venture starting up the Cheshire Art Hub, and her own business 'Lady Longhorn Gallery.'
